One-Year Limited Warranty (United States Only)
A Better Computer Co. manufactures its hardware products from parts and components that are new or equivalent to new in accordance with industry-standard practices. A Better Computer Co. warrants that the hardware products it manufactures will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The limited warranty term is one year beginning on the date of invoice, as further described in the following text.

Damage due to shipping the products to you is covered under this limited warranty. Otherwise, this limited warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by A Better Computer Co., usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by A Better Computer Co.

This limited warranty does not cover any items that are in one or more of the following categories: software, external devices (except as specifically noted), accessories or parts added to a A Better Computer Co. system after the system is shipped from A Better Computer Co., accessories or parts added to a A Better Computer Co. system not through A Better Computer Co. system integration department, accessories or parts that are not installed in the A Better Computer Co. factory. Monitors, keyboards and mice that are not A Better Computer Co. branded or that are included on A Better Computer Co. system standard price list are covered under this limited warranty. All other monitors, keyboards, and mice (including those sold through the A Better Computer Co. computer program) are not covered.

During the one-year period beginning on the invoice date, A Better Computer Co. will repair or replace products returned to A Better Computer Co.'s facility. To request limited warranty service, you must contact A Better Computer Co. Customer Technical Support within the limited warranty period. To contact A Better Computer Co., look in your documentation to find the appropriate telephone number for obtaining customer assistance. If limited warranty service is required, A Better Computer Co. will issue a Return Material Authorization Number. You must ship the products back to A Better Computer Co. in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. A Better Computer Co. will ship the repaired or replacement products to you freight-prepaid if you use an address in the continental United States, where applicable. Shipments to other locations will be made freight-collect.
